The Rivington Celebrant

Annie Richardson lives in rural Lancashire close to Rivington and runs The Rivington Celebrant, leading weddings, vow renewals, naming ceremonies and blessings for couples who married abroad. She writes every ceremony herself around the couple's story, personalities and beliefs. Couples can write their own vows or keep traditional elements, and there are no set restrictions on music, readings, time or day. Before becoming a celebrant she worked as senior cabin crew for a British airline, organised weddings at a country hall, sold country properties and spent 10 years working in a high school.
